What is Voice cloning?
Voice cloning is creating a synthetic copy of a specific person's voice from recordings of them speaking.
A short sample is now enough for a usable clone, which is exactly why consent matters. Indian courts have been actively protecting personality and voice rights.
Why it matters for Indian calling. Clone your own voice, or one you hold explicit written permission for. A general company privacy policy does not cover someone's biometric voice data, and public figures are not a grey area.
