What is Warm transfer?
A warm transfer passes a live call from an automated agent to a human along with the context of what has already been discussed.
The alternative, a cold transfer, drops the caller into a queue with no history and makes them repeat themselves — the fastest way to undo whatever goodwill the call had earned.
Why it matters for Indian calling. Handover quality is the real test of a voice agent deployment. Knowing when it cannot help is worth more than one more scripted answer.
