What is Barge-in?
Barge-in is a voice system's ability to stop speaking the moment the caller starts, instead of talking over them.
Without it the caller must wait for a prompt to finish, which is the single most recognisable trait of an automated call. With it, interruption works the way it does between people: the agent stops, listens, and picks up from what was said.
Why it matters for Indian calling. It is the fastest test of whether a demo is real. Interrupt the agent mid-sentence — if it keeps going, it is a recording with extra steps.
