What is Containment rate?
Containment rate is the share of calls an automated system completes on its own without transferring to a human.
A high figure is only good if those calls were genuinely resolved. Containment achieved by giving callers no route to a person is a complaint queue building quietly.
Why it matters for Indian calling. Read it beside outcome quality. Containment on its own can be improved by making the system worse.
