What is Connect rate?
Also called: answer rate
Connect rate is the share of dialled calls that a person actually answers.
It is driven far more by time of day, number reputation and list quality than by anything the agent says, because the decision to answer happens before a word is spoken.
Why it matters for Indian calling. A low connect rate is almost never a script problem. Changing the calling window usually moves it more than rewriting the opening line.
